umami

Web analytics service marketing site

Umami is a simple, fast, privacy-focused alternative to traditional web analytics. It positions itself as a modern Google Analytics replacement — no cookies, open source, and self-hostable.

Brief

Build a full marketing site for the SaaS product that clearly explains the tool’s value, shows real UI examples, and nudges visitors to try the service. The design had to be clean, minimal, and credible for a technical audience.

What we delivered

Hero — strong “Powerful analytics without the bloat” headline with subcopy and CTA. A large product dashboard screenshot sits right under the headline so users see the interface before signing up.

Partners — logos of well-known companies for social proof.

“Umami helps you find the answers” — brand section setting up the deeper feature tour.

Six feature blocks in Q&A form, each with real UI illustration: How many visitors did I get last week? — traffic charts; Where are my visitors coming from? — interactive world map; What are people actually doing on my site? — behaviour; Is my latest campaign working? — campaign performance; Why did users abandon checkout? — funnels and drop-off; How much revenue is my site generating? — revenue analytics. Visitors see concrete use cases without long prose.

Final CTA — “Try Umami now” with signup, closing the product story.

Structured footer — product, resources, community, and social links.

Outcome

A complete marketing site with clear structure and UX: first impression → concrete capabilities → signup. Minimal design reinforces product simplicity and builds trust with developers and technical teams.
